How to Build a Weekly Review Routine in Notion (That You’ll Actually Stick To)
A simple, repeatable system to reflect on your week and plan the next one — without overwhelm.
A weekly review is the single most effective productivity habit I’ve adopted. But for months, I kept skipping it because my system felt like homework. So I redesigned it to be quick, visual, and actually satisfying.
Here’s the structure I use: a dedicated Notion page with four sections — Wins, Learnings, Next Week’s Top 3, and a Brain Dump. I spend no more than 20 minutes. The key is to make it a ritual, not a chore. Light a candle, put on music, and treat it as a date with your business.
I’ve included a simple template block you can duplicate. Set a recurring calendar event for Sunday evening or Friday afternoon. After two weeks, you’ll wonder how you ever went without it.
