How to Use Notion as a Creative Business Hub — Not Just a To-Do List
Transform your Notion workspace into a central command center for projects, clients, and ideas.
Most people use Notion as a fancy to-do list. But it can be so much more. Think of it as your business hub: a single place where you manage projects, track clients, store ideas, and even run your content calendar.
Start by creating a dashboard page with linked views to your most important databases. For me, that’s a project tracker, a client directory, and a content calendar. I use a gallery view for visual appeal and a calendar view for deadlines. The key is to see everything at a glance without clicking around.
Next, add a ‘Resources’ section with links to your templates, brand assets, and recurring checklists. Finally, create a ‘Brain Dump’ database for random ideas. When you capture an idea, tag it with a status (New, In Progress, Done) so you never lose it again.
With this setup, you can run your entire business from one tab. No more switching between apps. It takes an afternoon to set up, but it will save you hours every week.
